Why did our elected Texas Republicans punish Sid Miller for protecting us from gas pump skimmers?

For decades the Texas Department of Agriculture checked the accuracy of gas pumps with no problems.

When TDA employees were finding more and more gas stations

with skimmers on the pumps Sid made videos about the danger.

And Sid had the locations of the violators made public.

OMG!! The station owners freaked out!

This cannot be!! And they spread money around Austin to stop Sid.

Why would the Republican we elect represent credit card skimmers?

How did they stop Sid from protecting us?

A total bullcrap story:

They cried that Sid’s signature on the TDA label on the fuel pumps was too large.        Sid also included a phone number you can call the TDA to report any problems. The TDA would have an inspector at the location within 3 business days.

Our elected Republican legislators stopped Sid by taking away the gas stations and giving it to another state agency that did not have enough employees around the state to handle the workload.

Why are gas stations not responsible for the crime that occurs on their property?

They are open 24/7, have cameras, and I assume the gas station gets their money for the gas that was purchased.

How are they not responsible?

The people you elected not only stopped Sid from protecting us
they also protected the indentification of the stations that
allowed credit card skimmers on their gas pumps.

Sid by voting to protect
the stations with skimmers.
And made it hard
for you to report
a station that was
violating the law.

They used the excuse that Sid,
was bad because his name
was on the TDA sticker.
By including his name on the sticker
Sid took ownership and responsibility.
Somehing that escapes most politicians.

Why did they not protect us by helping the
good employees at the TDA to protect us? 

Has your idenity been copied

Because employees at the
Texas Department of Agriculture
were busting gas stations for
having skimmers on their gas pumps
and Sid published their locations.

So why did our elected Republicans
protect the gas station skimmers

Sid Miller warned the Legislators we
elected to represent us in Austin.
Did our Elected Legislators listen? 

It opened the gates to more idenity theft.
Is that what you expected from your vote?

Why are the gas station owners never
responsible for the constant crime
committed on their property?

They own the pumps,
I assume the gas station
owners are getting their money
or they would know instantly
if the skimmers took their money?
Must be a very wealthy lobby?
